What is Teamchat?

Teamchat is a Slack-style messenger: create a workspace, invite people by link, code or email, and talk in public or private channels, threads and direct messages. Mentions, reactions and file attachments work the way you expect, and roles let owners and admins manage the space.

Key features

  • Workspaces with public and private channels
  • Threads, direct messages, mentions and emoji reactions
  • File attachments in conversations
  • Invite by expiring link, code or email
  • Owner, admin and member roles

How to use it

  1. Open teamchat.puter.com in any modern browser — computer, tablet or phone.
  2. Sign in with a free Puter account; your data is saved in your own Puter cloud storage.
  3. Want to self-host or hack on it? Run it locally (Node.js 22.12 or newer):
git clone https://github.com/HeyPuter/everything.git
cd everything/src/teamchat
npm install
npm run dev
