What is Assets?
Assets (AssetDesk) keeps every piece of equipment in one place. Check items out to people with return dates, track warranties and maintenance schedules, print QR labels and run stocktakes by scanning, and see book value with straight-line depreciation. Import an existing spreadsheet with the CSV wizard.

Yes. Assets is part of the Everything Project and its source code is published on GitHub under the MIT license. There is no subscription or trial.
